Main Uses of High Temperature Tapes

The temperature resistance of high temperature tapes is usually between 120℃ and 260℃. As an insulating high temperature material, it is used in textile, food, medicine, wood processing and other fields. It has the characteristics of low friction, wear resistance, non viscosity, moisture resistance and high insulation. It can be used for surface cladding of storage tank roller and lining of guide rail friction surface. It can be directly pasted on various large plane and regular curved surface (such as roller). The operation is simple. It is not limited by the professional equipment and special process for spraying tetrafluorocarbon materials. It is not necessary to be transported to the professional spraying plant for processing.

High temperature tape includes polyimide tape (finger tape) provided by polyimide tape suppliers glass cloth tape, polyester tape, copper foil tape, Teflon sticky tape, aluminum tape, etc. High temperature tapes are mainly used for the following purposes.

1. Electrical insulation: high temperature tape is of high electrical insulation grade and can withstand high voltage load.

2. Non metallic compensator: high temperature tapes can be used as a flexible connecting device for pipes, which can solve the damage problem caused by thermal expansion and cold contraction.

3. Anti corrosion: glass cloth tape can be used as internal and external anti-corrosion coating of pipeline, with excellent anti-corrosion performance and high strength, which is an ideal anti-corrosion material. It can also be used in building sealing materials, high temperature anti-corrosion conveyor belt, packaging materials and other fields.

4. The surface of Teflon tape is smooth, with good adhesion resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and excellent insulation performance. It is widely used in packaging, thermoplastic, composite, sealing, thermal sealing, electronic and electrical industries. The fabric reinforced Teflon tape has the characteristics of high strength. It can be used in sizing machine roller, thermoplastic demoulding and other industries. It can be recycled and it is easy to replace.
